Papum Pare acquires land for PGCIL for power substations

ITANAGAR, Jun 7: The Papum Pare district administration has become the first in the state to hand over the required land for launch of “Comprehensive Scheme for Strengthening of Transmission & Distribution System in the state of Arunachal Pradesh”. On Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner, Papum Pare Pooja Jain and DLR&SO Techi Hitlar, handed over the land acquisition related documents for construction of 132 and 33KV sub-Station during a short programme inside the DC’s chamber. The land required for the scheme at five locations under Papum Pare district jurisdiction are Hollongi and Sagalee for 132 KV Sub-Station measuring 15000 Sqmtr each, Jote (3000Sqmtr), Midphu (3000Sqmtr) and Leporiang (2400Sqmtr) required for the 33 KV-Substation.
The land required for 132KV sub-station was handed over to TK Tara, Executive Engineer (E) of newly created Transmission Division No-1, with Head office at Chimpu while for 33 KV locations it was handed over to Executive Engineer (E), Electrical Division of Sagalee and Naharlagun, Department of Power.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while attending the Arunachal Festival celebration in 2015 had laid the foundation stone for Strengthening of Power Transmission and Distribution System in Arunachal Pradesh. Altogether 94 substations will be constructed across the state which include 24(132/33 KV) and 70 (33/11 KV).
The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) will execute the construction of these substation through global e-tendering process for which central government under Ministry of Power had sanctioned Rs 3200 crore for state of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
After the completion of project, the sub-station will be handed over to department of power for operation and future maintenance.
The land had been acquired under the provision of new Land Act-2013 by paying adequate land and asset compensation to the private land owners. While talking to this daily over phone, Deputy Manager, PGCIL Aman Singh informed that once complete, this project will vastly improve the power scenario in the state.
“We have a target of 4 years to finish the project. We have achieved our first target by acquiring the required land in Papum Pare district. Hopefully things will set in pace from here onwards,” said Aman Singh.
Additional General Manger, (Comprehensive Scheme) PGCIL, Nirjuli, Subankar Das, Deputy Manager, PGCIL Aman Singh and representatives from respective Electrical Division of Sagalee and Naharlagun were present in the handing/taking over ceremony.
Committee demands Civil Terminal in ALG, Pasighat

PASIGHAT, Jun 7: Taking serious note of the absence of a civilian terminal for domestic air connectivity in the Advance Landing Ground at Pasighat, the Civil Terminal Demand Committee in ALG, Pasighat has decided to stop the construction work till the government comes out with a proper plan to develop a civilian terminal.
The committee in a meeting at Solung Ground on Monday viewed that the completion of the ALG is nearing but Airports Authority of India and Indian Air Force have made no initiation for construction of the Civil Terminal as part of the ALG.
A letter communicated between DC East Siang and Secretary, Civil Aviation, GoAP, of May 24, 2016, states that the playground of IGJHSS, Pasighat has been preferred by Airport Authority of India for developing the Civil Terminal. However, the representatives from AAI and IAF have not turned up for finalization .
Meanwhile, the DC has called for a joint meeting on Wednesday to resolve the demand made by the Committee. DC Isha Khosla informed that an alternative land acquisition procedure is underway for infrastructure development of the Civil Terminal.
The Civil Terminal Demand Committee in ALG, Pasighat includes members of Adi Baane Kebang East Siang Unit, ABK (apex) representative, AdiSU (apex), AdiSU East Siang, BBK, BBYK, AESDSU, DPYK and senior citizens and experts like former Indian Air Force officer Mahonto Pangging.
Further, the committee has also emphasised for quality monitoring of the ongoing Indoor Stadium at the General Ground.
MP calls for need-based modalities for RD schemes
YINGKIONG, Jun 7: Member of Parliament and Chairman of the District Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee (DLV&MC) Ninong Ering asked the district committee to work out need-based modalities for successful implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes in Upper Siang.
Ering, who presided over the fourth quarter/year end meeting of the DLVMC here on Tuesday, lamented the inadequate internet connectivity in the area since data on such schemes are to be updated online.
Deputy Commissioner cum Member Secretary, DLV&MC Remo Kamki urged for taking up tangible projects for overall uplifting of village communities under these schemes, especially under BADP programmes where the involvement of PRIs should be a must.
The PRI members urged for proper implementation of centrally sponsored schemes in consultation with them and also urged for cross-checking and verification of the schemes by the appellate bodies.
Local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary (PHED&WS) Alo Libang stressed on selection of schemes on need basis and requested the PRI members to get themselves involved in successful implementation of such programmes.
Earlier the Department concerned projected their achievements and up-to-date status of various projects being implemented under various schemes.
Achievements and targets in the schemes, like Mg-NREGA, IAY, IWMP, RURBAN under DRDA; old age pension, disability pension, family benefits scheme, CM disability pension scheme under ICDS; PMGSY under RWD; ARWSP & Rural Sanitation and SBM under PHED; RGGVY/DDUGJY under Electrical dept & BADP schemes under DPO were highlighted and discussed in the meeting.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Ering visited Mariyang circle of Upper Siang district and inspected the general ground and the construction of rostrum in the ground.
He urged the concern department to maintain the general ground and the rostrum in good shape and condition.
He also inspected the ongoing road construction work of Yingkiong- Mariyang-Pasighat highway and urged the public to cooperate and support the road construction work. DIPRO
Mein calls for proper implementation of WCD programmes
ITANAGAR, Jun 7: Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein has called on the officers of Women and Child Development department to implement various policies, schemes and programmes for the welfare, protection and empowerment of women, girl child, children, senior citizens, differently abled and vulnerable sections of the society in the right spirit.
Mein was addressing the Deputy Directors (WCD) and CDPOs at the state level review meeting at Banquet Hall on Tuesday. Secretary WCD, Madhu K Garg was also present on the occasion.
The Minister said that we need to create and work towards promoting empowerment and creating enabling environment. He said that today women and girls are making their mark in various fields ranging from sports to academics.
He further said that in view of the State Development Council meeting, it is necessary for the department in projecting their infrastructural as well as other reqirement. Mein also assured to highlight the critical issues and needs at the SDC meeting, for taking forward the efforts and activities of the department.
During the interactive session, when appraised on the need for infrastructures in terms of office buildings for CDPOs, renovation of Anganwadi Centres and Training Centre, he informed that the government has placed priority on repair and renovation of assets.
With regards to implementation of scheme, Micro Finance Vision 2011, he asked to promote sincere and dedicated SHGs of women entrepreneurs for success of the scheme.
Enquiring on the Women Helpline, the Dy CM also called for making the toll free number functional which is at present functioning with a landline and mobile numbers.
Further, he also asked to create awareness among the rural people in particular for enrolling their children in pre-schools run by the Anganwadi workers and to cover the children of the BRO workers under the Non-Formal Pre-School Education (NFPSE) and SABLA.
Secretary (WCD) Madhu K. Garg said that the schemes should be implemented as per guidelines and to achieve the targeted physical and financial goals. She also stressed the need to use IT tools to improvise the reporting system. She assured to take up the matter raised by the officers at the earliest.
Earlier, the Director, WCD, R.T. Riba in a presentation highlighted the initiatives and steps taken under various programmes and schemes implemented by the department.
Among others, she informed that Working Women Hostels are being constructed at Tawang, Bomdila, Ziro, Roing, Tezu and Naharlagun, while 17 Protection Officers have been appointed for effective implementation of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
She said that, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhoa, a centrally sponsored scheme for spreading awareness in the society to arrest declining Child Sex Ratio, is being implemented in Dibang Valley District, where Child sex ratio is the lowest at 889 girls for 1000 boys as per 2011 census.
Under Protection of Children from Sexual Act,2012 (POCSO), Court of District and Session Judge and Court of Additional District and Session Judge have been constituted in Yupia, Tezu, Pasighat, Basar, Bomdila with appointment of special public prosecutor.
Director Riba also informed that Prohibition of Child Marriage Rules have been laid in the assembly in which Deputy Director (ICDS) have been designated as Prohibition Officer.
MNRE to promote upto 100 MW as small HEP, says NITI Aayog
NEW DELHI, Jun 7: NITI Aayog agreed that projects upto 100 MW could soon be promoted and taken up as small hydropower projects under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in Arunachal Pradesh, reports, CMO.
This was revealed in a meeting between Arunachal Chief Minister Kalikho Pul and CEO of NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant in Delhi on Tuesday.
Pul had sought the support of the planning body to help develop state’s untapped hydropower potential in realising the Prime Minister’s vision of 24x7 power for all by 2022.
To boost development of small hydropower in the state, the CM pointed out that the process of obtaining various clearances for the projects must be expedited and even made into a single window clearance system.
Pointing out on the impact of basin studies on the viability of small projects on river tributaries, the Chief Minister observed that such studies resulted in the delay in implementation of the projects despite clearances obtained from CEA and MoEF & CC.
“We have to be practical in our approach and we must strike a balance between the demands of environmental concerns and obligations of development”, he said.
Pul reiterated that the projects proposed to be dropped as an outcome of Basin Study should be avoided as it may generate ill will and hamper future projects.
The CM quoted an example from Lohit basin area, where all surveys stand completed, though projects are yet to take off for basin studies.
Kant assured to follow up on the requests made by the Chief Minister and informed that a decision on this would be arrived at soon. The CEO agreed to have a follow up meeting on June 15 next to carry forward the agenda, with the State Power Department, MNRE, Ministry of Water Resources and Ministry of Power as well as the Ministry of E&F and CC.
The Chief Minister suggested various measures to revamp the hydropower sector. He sought cooperation and engagement of people of both Assam and Arunachal to make the Subansiri project operational in couple of years, which he felt that it would have a demonstrative effect on other projects too. Regarding the Subansiri project, the Chief Minister said that it was important to take the people of Assam into confidence. The project has a lot of scope for irrigation, for providing drinking water as well as for flood mitigation. “We have to protect the interests of Assam too in these projects. And that can only be done through cooperation and consultations”, Pul added.
Also the state government would identify two early projects, which can be commissioned within next two to three years that will have a demonstrative effect on other projects, the CM said.
The issue of better connectivity was a key focus area where intervention of the Niti Aayog was also solicited. Rail connectivity to the foothills of Arunachal through linking of the network from Assam to 11 places in Arunachal was should be taken up on priority, the CM appealed. The start of goods train services will also greatly help in providing forward and backward linkages for the agriculture, horticulture, medicinal plants and mineral sectors and will also help in the movement of heavy plants and machinery for large development projects like hydropower, as well as for troops of the military, said the Chief Minister.
He also sought the support of the Niti Aayog in creating civilian terminals in the 7 landing grounds being developed by the Defence Ministry and the Airport Authority of India. Sharing his vision of connecting all the District HQs and key tourist destinations by helicopter, not only for passenger transportation but also for use during disasters and medical evacuations, he said that for realising this dream the support of the Niti Aayog was critical.
In his meeting with the CEO and other high-ranking officials of the NITI Aayog, Pul also raised the issue of the inherited liabilities amounting to Rs.1801 crores which were brought forward in the current financial year from the previous government and the lesser allocation of share of Central Taxes against recommendations of the 14th Finance Commission (FFC).
The CM urged the NITI Aayog that the provision of a one-time grant of Rs. 5214.28 crores comprising the liabilities created by the previous Govt, the liabilities of the CSS and the shortfall in the share of Central Taxes over two years will tremendously help the State in realizing the aspirations of the people of this remote border State.
The CEO Niti Aayog assured to write to the Finance Ministry for release of balance funds at the earliest and said that a meeting would be convened to work out the modalities. (CMO)
IMC to start door to door garbage collection
ITANAGAR, Jun 7: With plans to start door to door garbage collection in A,B and P sector in Itanagar from Jun 9 next on alternate days on experimental basis, the Itanagar Municipal Council (IMC) here on Tuesday distributed raincoats, gumboots, gloves and mask to all its sanitary staffs in a small function held in the office of the DC Itanagar Capital Complex, Sandeep Kumar Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that if the door to door collection of garbage becomes successful, it will be implemented in the entire Capital Complex. Door to door garbage collection is currently functional in E sector Naharlagun. Seeking the cooperation of the denizens of the Capital Complex, the DC urged all to come out and hand over the garbage to the sanitary staffs when they arrive rather than throwing it on the roads.
He urged the sanitary staffs to work with dedication as they have a big role to play in keeping the city clean.

LBSC beat DFC 3-2 in Dree Tournament
ZIRO, Jun 7: Laji Bogia Sporting Club (LBSC) beat Diibo Football Club (DFC) 3-2 in a keenly contest match in the 49th Central Dree Football Tournament at Dree Ground, Ziro on Tuesday.
Tage Apang opened the account for his club of DSC in 7th which was equalized by LBSC in 22nd minutes through goal from Lod Gyuth.
The first half of the match ended in 1-1 draw.
LBSC took a brief in the second half through a goal from Lod Gyuth only to be equalized again by Tanyang Yubbey.
Gyuth again found the net in 74th minutes to seal victory for his team LBSC.
The second match of the day played between All Salang Sports Association (ASSA) and High Definition Football Club (HDFC) ended in 1-1 goal.
Nada Tagya (HDFC) and Narang Khibo (ASSA) scored a goal each for their team in 45th and 66th minutes respectively.
EKSWCO distributes cash relief to Seppa fire victims
ITANAGAR, Jun 7: East Kameng Social Welfare and Cultural Organization (EKSWCO) on Tuesday distributed relief to 38 families affected by the recent fire accident at ALC barracks, Seppa.
As per the assessment committee, the victims were divided into four categories based on the extent of damages they have suffered and relief was distributed accordingly.
A total of Rs15 lakh was distributed among the victims.
Earlier, EKSWCO Chairman, Kya Safer Pao urged the dwellers of ALC Barracks to take utmost precaution and adopt fire safety measure to avoid such mishaps in future.
Hostel for NE girl students in Bengaluru
NEW DELHI, Jun 7: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh laid the Foundation Stone of a Hostel exclusively for Northeast girl students in Bengaluru on Monday.
The hostel, which is the first of its kind in Bangalore University, will have a capacity to accommodate 269 students and will be constructed at a cost of around Rs. 14 crore.
Speaking on the occasion after laying the foundation stone, Dr Jitendra Singh disclosed that
the next hostel project will shortly be started in the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, where land has already been acquired by the North Eastern Council (NEC). Since JNU has a larger number of students from the eight North Eastern States compared to several other States of India, it was found appropriate to raise the facility there, he said.

Moyong distributes relief to the fire victims
PASIGHAT, Jun 7: Local MLA Kaling Moyong distributed relief amounts to the fire victims of Pasighat market in Balaji Mandir on Monday in presence of Pasighat Market Association president Obyak Ering.
Rs 1,01,900 each was handed over the victims, who have lost everything in the devastating fire on May 11. He also handed over Rs. 5,200 each to those, whose properties were partially damaged. ITANAGAR, Jun 7: A meeting of trainers and trainees under employment through skill training and placement under National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) was organized by the Itanagar Municipal Council (IMC) here on Tuesday.

Driver dies
ITANAGAR, Jun 7: Driver Ili Ete of Domukh Government College died on June 6 at Shillong after a brief illness.
He left behind his wife and three daughters.
Ete was appointed as driver in July, 2005 under the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education,
Principal of the college Dr. NT Rikam and all the faculty members and staff of the college deeply mourned his sudden demise and prayed to almighty to rest his departed soul in peace.
GSU demands 3G service at Tirbin
ITANAGAR, Jun 7: The Deputy General Manager (DGM) of BSNL, Itanagar has assured a delegation of Galo Students’ Union (GSU) that proposal would be made to BSNL Circle Office, Dimapur to introduce 3G mobile network at Tirbin.
Responding to a memorandum submitted by GSU demanding improvement in mobile service in Tirbin, the DGM said that a proposal would be made to BSNL Office, Dimapur for inclusion of Tirbin in BSNL’s work plan during 2016-17 to bring the area under 3G network coverage.
The DGM also assured to expedite the work of 3G service in the area once the proposal is approved. He further assured to improve the existing 2G service.
Earlier, the GSU team led by its president Binya Ronya submitted a representation to the GM, BSNL through the DGM to improve the mobile service and introduce 3G network in Tirbin ADC administrative service. The team also apprised the DGM about the poor mobile network which is causing great inconvenience to the subscribers.
Meanwhile, the GSU has decided to voluntarily support All Tagin Students’ Union (ATSU)’s proposed peaceful rally on June 9 from IG Park Tennis Court to chief minister’s bungalow to demand justice for late Kali Bulo and his aggrieved family.

ITANAGAR, Jun 7: The All Topo Youth Association too has sought handing over of Kali Bulo death case to CBI. It also demanded ex-gratia and compensation for the deceased’s family members.
The association has also sought clarification from West Siang Police Department and SIT regarding CCTV footage of the memorial stone vandalism of the late teacher on August 14 last year.

Create healthy atmosphere
The unfortunate death of a woman at Mechukha in the road accident allegedly caused
by vehicle belonging to Border Road Organization (BRO) has turned ugly. Angry over
the incident the locals allegedly vandalized the Mechuka GREF Camp damaging accommodation,
vehicles and equipments. The incident is believed to have sent shockwaves among BRO
officials. It will led to the development of fear psychosis among them and can potentially
affect the BRO project in the state.
BRO is engaged in construction of road projects in various parts of the state. They
are especially concentrating in border areas like Mechuka, Tawang, Taksing, etc.
Unless the local people extend support, these projects will not be completed on time.
The people of Arunachal need to create a healthy atmosphere, so that agencies engaged
in developmental projects are able to finish it without any problem. Also on their
part, BRO need to improve relation with the local populace. More number of Arunachalee
people should be hired under them. The organization also needs to upgrade themselves.
Many of the freak accidents involving BRO takes place due to use of very old machineries.
BRO lacks modern technology and is ill equipped to face the present day challenges.
In recent year BRO is also under the scanner for corruption charges and poor quality
work. Government of India should look into all these issues.

Illegal activities

This is regarding a news item on seizure of Paris polyphylla in Roing.
These types of activities are an illegal source of income to those who are involved
in this trade. Rumours had been going on that this illegal activity has been going
on at Upper Siang, Dibang Valley, L/Dibang and Anjaw. Good thing the Police finally
caught up with these guys. However as presumed, they will be out of jail in no time.
Nowadays, the Judiciary has been separated, at least they will get constant harassment
appearing before the Judicial Magistrates, attending summons.

Melting glaciers

This is regarding a news item on “Flash flood hits Daporijo”.
The peak high flood months for entire Arunachal Pradesh are approaching. Do we have
a proper disaster management plan to avert large casualties or are we just waiting
to see its consequences and distribute flood relief to the marooned people ? There
is every chance of flash floods or high floods in the region because all glaciers
of AP Rivers are melting astonishingly.

Lessons from Monohar Aich
Dear Editor,
India's first Mr Universe, Monohar Aich left his body on Sunday afternoon in Kolkata
at the age of 104. Did he just leave his body? No. He donated his body to R G Kar
Hospital, Kolkata. It was the body which he built over the years through discipline,
dedication and determination and now as per his wish, it has been donated to the
future doctors of our country. He left behind so many messages for the wellbeing
of our body. His first message is definitely not to be ashamed of one's own body
whatever challenges it may have. His was a short frame of only four feet, 11 inch.
When acidic "hey you midget" comments could have earned inferiority complex in others,
he, on the contrary, earned one laurel after another for his country. He became Mr
Hercules in 1950. Next year saw him finishing second in the Mr Universe contest in
London. He emerged as Mr Universe in 1952 as the first Indian to achieve the honour.
Later, he also gave India gold medals in Asian Body Building Championships. Nevertheless,
he was called "Pocket Hercules" for his hight but this man showed how to smile away
such nonsense. His second message is to unlearn religious rituals and macho compulsions
that force us to torture our body. While long fast and body torturing penance are
associated with religious practices, wine-drugs-tobacco are being packaged with macho
foils. To fill one's body with such deadly poison as liquor and drugs is passed for
an act of bravado. Tobacco kills the body but alcohol and drugs kill humanity as
well by destroying our very consciousness. In such a negative environment, Monohar
Aich had the maturity to unlearn such prejudices and myths and gave his body a balance
diet, regular exercise and confidence that could on their part reflect divine glow
to his temple. He scored a century in the real test match of life. I had the fortune
of seeing him in his very ripe old age. And I saw a graceful man who was eager to
spread the message of how to lead a healthy life. His body earned so many honour
for our country and it will still remain useful even after his death. His body will
be of immense help for the would-be doctors of R G Kar Hospital to know the secret
of the hardware of human body. Now, it is time for all of us to install his software
(lifestyle) in our mobile body.

stimulate playing, acting, singing, recitation, speaking and narrating in youth
groups. It provides the avenues of socialization, self-identification and self-assessment
when the child comes in contact with organizers, fellow participants, teachers, and
seniors’ people outside the school during cultural activity. Inculcate the values
to respects other’s view and feeling. It provides motivation for learning and develops
the values like physical, psychological, Ethical, academic, civic, social, aesthetic,
cultural recreational and disciplinary values.
In Arunachal Pradesh thousands of unemployed youths are wandering here and there
seek govt. jobs. And it is not possible for the government to provide job to everybody
in one go. It has been observed that some of the educated unemployed youths either
keep busy themselves in private job, politics or in student’s organization’s activities.
And, when they find nothing to do in life some of our educated unemployed youths
become victims of drug and alcohol. As a result they stray into some unlawful activities
and become criminal.
However, apart from these guys, an innovative and creativity young groups who are
organizing different co-curricular activities in a very attractive and different
ways which are highly appreciable and commendable. Some of the programmes led by
those brilliant youngsters are Arunachal Got talent, Arunachal Idol, Voice of Arunachal,
Nyishi Idol, Rock Shows and various sports events etc., being organized by different
organizations in their own ability and capacities. The primary objectives of all
these competition are to bring out hidden and budding talented youngsters of our
state and expose their talent in front of the general masses.
However, there are few drawbacks.
In our society, some of the parents don’t encourage their kids to participate in
such co-curricular activities for which he or she is made for. So, they don’t give
training to their kids in their field of interest. For them only studies is everything
in life. Even if their kids become topper in any kind of competition, there is no
contribution from their own society for his/her promotion and uplift. That could
be the reason why our youngsters are not at par with the national level.
Moreover, our people hesitate to spare few thousands for local artistes but these
same people will pay lacs of rupees to artistes from outside.
If these unemployed youths conduct co-curricular activities successfully and get
some amount for his or her livelihood, our own people look at them as if they are
involved in some criminal activity. If our unemployed youths make money for their
livelihood through their innovative ventures, I don’t see anything wrong in it.
Our people blame a lot and need audit report about state level programme, but they
never ask the same from programme like Indian Idol, Saare Gama Pa, India Got talent,
which are earning billion of money.
Many people in our state watch programme like India’s Got Talent and vote for contestants
but their views change when it is about programmes in the state. I don’t find any
logic on the discriminated ideology.
To encourage talents of our young generation, many people of our state and Government
of Arunachal have been giving due encouragement and recognizance to various event
organizers for such co-curricular activities which is highly laudable and commendable.
Creativity, enthusiasm, energetic and positive thinking are some of the facets of
personality development and the outcomes of extracurricular activities.
We must know what our child try to become rather than to decide what my child should
become.

All the money wasted

Dear Editor,
All the money which comes from centre is eaten by the party functionaries and officials,
leaving no fund for the development. Just look at the number of SUV like fortuner
in such a small state. Rs 7000 crore for such a small population is large enough.
Every time, we give the same excuses to central government by repeating the same
old stories of being a hilly terrain and difficult weather conditions. Fact is all
our money goes outside the state where rich kids are enjoying our share of money.

Stop the brewery
Dear Editor,
I recently have gone through the letter in your newspaper regarding a brewery being
set up at Lekhi Village, Nirjuli.
I totally agree to the concerns raised by him and the several disadvantages that
may spoil the flora and fauna of the area and also hamper the lives of people in
the area.
I support the contentions made by the citizen and fail to understand how the previous
Government allowed setting up of such a hazardous industry in the thickly populated
residential area of capital city which would create a lot of imbalance in the atmosphere
of the locality. Had the entire government and administration been blind folded that
under their nose such an illegal approval was given at the cost of innocent human
lives and animals.
Once such a deadly industry becomes operational, it would create imbalance in the
lives of the people leading a normal and healthy life. People will be forced to inhale
toxic air and drink poisonous water. The Children and the upcoming generation will
easily get influenced by the easy availability of such a deadly product which can
spoil their future. Why is the government for the sake of benefiting few individuals
playing with the lives of the poor?
I urge the present government on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh to wake
up so that the lives of innocent children, people and animals can be saved by the
aftereffect of such a project, else, the people of the area will be compelled to
take their own measures to stop the indirect massacre of the area.
